Wretched Reads Horror Book Club (“Tender is the Flesh”) + Movie Screening

On Thursday, March 27, the Wretched Reads Horror Book Club will meet at Old Major to discuss Agustina Bazterrica’s dystopian novel “Tender is the Flesh,” which portrays a society in which a virus has contaminated all animal meat. The group is led by Oli Turner, a co-founder of Small Doll Productions, a local horror-film production company. The group will also watch the horror film Soylent Green, a nightmarish futuristic fantasy about the controlling power of big corporations and an innocent cop who stumbles on the truth.

Old Major’s doors open at 6 p.m. for food and drink service. Participants can support the venue by making a purchase from the venue.
