Friday Movie Night: Dune (1984)

Throughout August, Old Major is screening movies from 1984–forty years ago! On August 9, we will watch Dune, which is based on Frank Herbert’s 1965 science-fiction novel of the same name.
Plot: A Duke’s son leads desert warriors against the galactic emperor and his father’s evil nemesis to free their desert world from the emperor’s rule.
Seating for the film begins at 7 p.m.
The screening is free for attendees who have made a purchase of food and drink. Old Major serves food (including vegan) and beverages (including non-alcoholic).
